Project overview
Spirited is an automated dispenser of alcoholic cocktails that uses The Coca-Cola Company’s Freestyle technology to mix Coca-Cola ingredients and products with customers' spirits. It supercharges bartenders by decreasing time to mix cocktails, increase throughput and providing a wide variety of tasty cocktails with flawless consistency. Spirited dispenses 25 cocktails including Whiskey Cokes, Vodka Sodas and Flavored Margaritas – among a variety of other drinks. It fits best in environments where throughput is high and speed and accuracy matter, such as sporting events, concerts and sports bars.

Designed for speed and precision, it reduces wait times and customer loss while easing bartender stress. Shake is cost-effective as it curbs over-pouring, ensuring drink consistency. Spirited's prototype offers 25 cocktails across six spirits, expanding on-premises variety and sales potential. In summary, Shaken optimizes cocktail service at bustling events, benefiting both venues and bartenders by streamlining operations and enhancing drink options.
Spirited debuted at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta in December 2022.
Our field tests have shown that Spirited shines across several categories. Cocktails can be poured in as little as three seconds with precise, accurate pours every time. Our tests proved that Spirited prepares cocktails about two times faster than the manual bartender benchmark. So far, consumers expressed interest in the perception of wait time reduction, zero sugar mixer offerings and the innovative nature of the dispenser with no reluctance to try a cocktail from an automated machine. Training bartenders to operate Sprited was minimal, and they seemed to intuitively understand how to use it. Spirited set-up at venues was also easy.
Design
The design blends Coca-Cola's heritage with a modern, inviting style. Attention to detail is evident, especially in the clean white stage with aluminum levers and a refined cup rest, all well-lit. The lever, cup rest, drip tray, and liquid drain are ingeniously designed. A 24" high-res display enhances interaction. The new Freestyle system simplifies menu navigation, supporting sustainability with refillable RFID-equipped cups for preset pours and mixes at various locations, including universities, cruise liners, and theme parks.
